This site features the following tests:

Numerical Reasoning

This test is a non-verbal, numerical reasoning test. It measures the ability to reason abstractly, and people who score high have superior logical reasoning ability. The test is a very good predictor of learning potential and measures how fast and accurately people can learn new things. It does not, however, measure knowledge or education, or information possessed on any topic.

Verbal Reasoning

This test measures the ability to reason with words, and people who score high have superior verbal ability. The test is a very good predictor of language learning potential and measures how fast and accurately people can learn and use new words to express themselves clearly. This test is also a good indicator of knowledge of the English language (in particular vocabulary).

Your Personality

This test provides a short global measure of personality, which is defined as the consistent patterns of thoughts, emotion and behaviour that make every individual unique and different from others. The test measures five broad personality traits. All of these traits are needed to provide a description of your personality. Note that this test assesses only "normal" personality or those traits that are present in the overall population, thus not providing any information about clinically relevant traits. The five personality traits or "Big Five" have been found to predict a variety of important real life outcomes, from health-related behaviours to academic and job performance and interpersonal success (in relationships).

Your Emotional Intelligence

This test measures people's perceptions of their ability to know and influence their own and other people's emotions. People who are high on "emotional intelligence" think of themselves as calm, socially skilled, and are high on empathy (a process that allows them to feel what others are feeling). Conversely, people who are low, tend to be more temperamental and reactive, being less aware of other people's feelings and less able to control their own mood swings. Although this test only measures self-perceptions, when people respond in an honest way, the test is a very good indicator of your ability to master your own and other people's emotions.
